Abstract submissions for the symposium are now open; please use a template provided below. We encourage early submission of abstracts as the number of participants for the symposium is limited. Selected papers will be published in Procedia IUTAM after the symposium.

Proceedings submission
The proceedings for this symposium will be published by Springer in the IUTAM Bookseries. Please use the Springer template available in LaTeX and Word (also see additional general instructions provided by Springer), aim for 8 – 12 pages and then submit by emailing a PDF version to iutam2018@canterbury.ac.nz (final submission will require the source files).
Contributing authors will receive a free hard copy of the proceedings and a download link will be freely available for one month after publishing. The IUTAM Bookseries has a corresponding ISSN, the symposium proceedings will be issued with an ISBN and papers will have unique DOI identifiers. All papers will undergo a peer review process overseen by the scientific committee.
